Boltzmann Cup
An awesome outcome for our first participation! Cheers to The Rydberg Blockade!
On August 22nd, the Boltzmann Cup, the always expected annual football tournament organized by the Physics Department, took place with the participation of 12 teams from different research groups.
As a debuting team, still inexperienced but full of enthusiasm, we prepared for this day designing our jerseys, choosing the name for the team, and bringing The Rydberg Blockade team to life! (Special thanks to Precilasers for their kind sponsorship.)
Despite being a small group having limited (or no) training before the tournament, our effort, strong teamwork, and the individual skills of our players earned us 3rd place!
Our prize, a bottle of champagne, now proudly resides in our trophy case.
Congratulations to the champions of this edition, Qudevils, and a big thank you to the organizers. We will be back for more next year!
