Barbecue and students farewell
Time to celebrate and say goodbye
The day has come: our Master’s students, Greg and Foivos, have completed their master theses!
Their first steps in our lab — and the short, dark winter days — are now behind them. To celebrate the end of this chapter and the arrival of summer, we gathered for a barbecue. We prepared a delicious dinner for everyone, coincidentally sharing the grill with a friendly group of Italians who surprised us with some Sicilian delicacies.
During the evening, we gave Greg and Foivos a small gift to remember us by and their time in EQE.
Greg will stay on as a PhD student, focusing on the PaInt apparatus. Foivos, while moving on, won’t be too far — he’s beginning his PhD at TIQI, ETH Zurich.
We wish them both a joyful and successful PhD journey!
