Congratulations to Luis Fernández Martínez

Luis has completed his master’s thesis.

Today, our lab celebrates a major milestone: Luis has completed his master’s thesisand presented his work to the group members.

Luis went along through his progress on designing 2D magneto-optical traps forcooling Rb and Yb, as well as strategies for generating stable and precisely controlled tweezer arrays with spatial light modulators (SLMs). We are excited to implement these advancements with atoms soon!
